Vancouver Weddings

Scenic ocean vistas and intimate gardens make Vancouver weddings.

Whether it's on a secluded beach or in a cozy flower laden garden "get-away-to" Vancouver weddings are growing in popularity and the trend shows no signs of slowing down.

To hold your nuptials on a spectacular Vancouver beach or in a beautiful park setting there are only a few easy rules you need to know.

  • first come, first served
  • 50 people or less
  • no chairs, tents, awnings or tables
  • no alcohol
  • no rice or confetti

A marriage license is a non-refundable $100.00 and what you'll need to provide is the full name, date of birth and place of birth of both people and at least two witnesses not including the marriage commissioner or clergy who is doing the ceremony. And, the laws for Vancouver, B.C. (British Columbia) also allow same sex marriages.

Some of the most popular places for outdoor weddings are areas of Stanley Park and Queen Elizabeth Park which sits on the highest point of the city.

The wedding photos will be amazing especially if you come between May and September when you can count on good weather.

Before your wedding day or better yet plan to stay for your honeymoon in Vancouver and enjoy a spa visit, fishing trip or arrange a golf tournament.

If you need help let a Vancouver wedding planner help you. They'll take care of all the details to make your day special and memorable.
