Vancouver Parks
One of the most marvelous things about Vancouver parks (pronounced “Vancoover”) is the incredible number of truly beautiful green public spaces.
You'll find one in virtually every neighborhood ranging in size from the tiny urban neighborhood secret to the thousand acres Stanley Park. No matter the size, it is all but impossible to find one anywhere in the lower mainland that isn’t clean and well cared for. Best of all Vancouver parks are free public spaces except for pay parking in some cases where you can walk, jog, in-line skate, hike, picnic, swim, play tennis or shoot hoops. Each park has its own personality whether it be wind swept along the seaside, good for kite-flying, a rugged rainforest,a marshy bog with nesting birds or a favorite for weddings. With each park you'll get to see a different side of Vancouver.
