Vancouver Native Art
Looking for something a little exotic and unusual? Vancouver's (pronounced "Vancoover") Native Art may be the answer.
You'll find fantastic art and jewelry hand-made by local First Nations people. A great place to find some is at the stores and souvenir shops down in Gastown. Plan to spend some time and just so you know it'll take a good hour or more to really look around. There are hundreds of masks, bracelets, carvings, drums, leather goods, wonderful pictures and so much other stuff to see. I would suggest that you go to a native owned businesses as this way you may even get a chance to chat with the artist.
