The Vancouver Dining Guide

Our Vancouver dining guide tells you about some of the more than 5,000 places there are to eat in Vancouver .

Since the city is so multi-cultural, it can be said that you can eat your way all around the world in a day. Bring a healthy appetite because there’s so much to choose from and you’ll find a good mix of ethnic dishes to choose from in our guide. For example…

You might decide to have western omelets at Sophie’s Cosmic Café but don’t be surprised if A) you can’t finish it and B) if you have to stand in line to get in… especially on weekends during brunch hours (10am–1:00pm). When it comes to breakfast and brunches, Sophie’s is at the top of our list.

Of course you may want to take a stroll on the Stanley Park Seawall to walk it off before you go shopping to burn off breakfast and start thinking about the Vancouver dining guide and where you’ll go for lunch!

For lunch we recommend Burrito Brothers which is our secret spot for authentic casual Mexican dining in the city if you like Mexican that is.

In fact we had to really consider if we wanted to tell you about it because the secret will be out! The staff there are very friendly and the prices are VERY good and it almost feels like you are in Mexico when you’re inside or sitting on the patio listening to the music, the great food and cool staff… almost heaven!

So far we’ve talked about casual dining but for dinner why not make it a romantic meal with you special person?

The Salmon House in North Vancouver is our suggestions, It sits on a hill with one of the most dramatic views of the city, English Bay and Burrard Inlet...(One of the best places for a romantic sunset dinner!) the dress is formal so no jeans or shorts.
