Your Vancouver BC Map; an Essential Tool in Your Travel Bag

To make the most of your time in Vancouver, you must first get a Vancouver BC map.

Only then can you orient yourself to the various things to do in Vancouver and where they all are in relation to each other.

Of course, there are many places where you can find a Vancouver map.

Most major bookstores carry maps to the main world cities.

You can easily look up a map of Vancouver online and print it out.

Vancouver BC Tourism

You can wait until you arrive and visit the Tourism Vancouver Visitor Center (at 200 Burrard Street)....but it might be hard to find it without a map!

The most user-friendly Vancouver BC map is made by a company called Map Easy.

The Mapeasy Guidemaps are rated among the top maps available, and for good reason.

The map is a location map and a guidebook in one; its easy-to-read hand-drawn pictures show landmarks, hotels in Vancouver BC, and the main must see Vancouver highlights; while also giving a short sentence or two loaded with facts about that particular landmark or destination.

The maps are made of waterproof and tear-resistant material, which helps when you’re traveling in a rainy climate or repeatedly folding and re-folding.

Large bookstores carry MapEasy maps; or you can order one online.

Their maps are so easy to read and helpful that you’ll never go back to using another map brand again; and it’s well worth the $7 (plus shipping).

Once you have your Vancouver BC map, it’s time to start planning your trip!

Of course, every person has different things they want to see during their stay in such a magnificent city; but there are always a few standard highlights.

It’s always a good idea to take one of the many Vancouver tours as soon as you arrive in the city.

This will highlight the main attractions and things to do in Vancouver; then, based upon your personal desires and expectations, you can decide where to go back and spend more time.

Be sure to take your Vancouver BC map with you and follow along; you can also use it as a reference if you have specific questions for the tour guide.

You can also take a day trip to see Victoria, one of the most historic, quaint, picturesque towns in all of Canada.

It's only an hour and a half by Vancouver ferry to Victoria.

You will have to do a little bit of planning on how to get to the Tsawwassen ferry terminal; it is possible to get there via the Vancouver transit system (as opposed to taking a more costly cab); but it will take some coordination and research.

However, it’s well worth the effort; Victoria is well known as one of the most beautiful towns in Canada, if not the world.

With all of its waterways, islands, inlets, and bays, you will quickly find that a Vancouver BC map is an essential tool to guide you on your time in this beautiful city.
