The Vancouver Van Dusen Gardens
Vancouver Van Dusen Gardens are a real treat to see for all the green thumbs and also for those of us who have more of a brown thumb and a green thumb!
The gardens are open year-round for visitors to Vancouver as well as those of us who live here and is an excellent place to stroll around and relax amongst the calming green surroundings that nature has given us all right in the middle of the city. During the spring the gardens put on a sale. You can go and shop for saplings, seedlings and slips of a huge variety as well as plants and shrubbery and all the decorations and neat things you can put in your garden and your backyard or front yard for some of us... to make it more cozy or show it off for others to see! There is no shortage of landscaping ideas that you will get just strolling around the Vancouver ’s popular gardens especially at this time of year! Another great time to visit Vancouver ’s Van Dusen Gardens is in the wintertime when they decorate the entire garden with Christmas lights! Though we don't get very much snow in the city, we do get a lot of snow on the Vancouver ski hills but when we do get snow in Vancouver the Van Dusen Gardens are great place to visit in the evenings because it looks like a winter wonderland with all the plants, shrubs and trees decorated with the lights that sparkle as you stroll through the gardens and listen to the classical or Christmas music that I sometimes play! The gardens are great place to visit any time of year with your family, or that special someone in your life or even by yourself. Just take the time to breathe and relax as you stroll through nature. No where else in the world can you do that in the middle of a major world-class city. This is just one of the many reasons why Vancouver is known around the world as one of the best places to live and best places to visit with great things to see and do! We'd love to hear your own reviews and thoughts about the Vancouver Van Dusen Gardens or any other of the sights to see or places to go in Vancouver and what you thought of it so that we can share your experiences and insights with everyone else!
