Valentine Day Flower Arrangement

There is no more popular a gift in Vancouver on February 14th than a Valentine Day flower arrangement.

Finding a good florist in Vancouver won't be much of a problem. There are many excellent shops and places to buy flowers from all over the place in neighborhoods, malls and corner stores.

Vancouver florists will deliver for you usually the same day if you place your order before noon. But, for special occasions like Valentines Day you will want to make sure to reserve ahead of time.

If you need to grab something quick you could also stop into a local corner store or make a special trip to the Granville Island Public Market and pick up flowers to create your own Valentine Day flower arrangement.

Pretty much anywhere you buy flowers they will be wrapped up in cellophane for you sometimes with a little tissue and tied with ribbon all ready for presenting.

When you think of the day of love and romance, roses are usually what come to mind. For sure a dozen roses make a big bold statement but there are many other romantic options of flowers that are popular for Valentines.

You may find this surprising but nearly half of all flowers for Valentines aren't even roses but some other variety of cut flower.

Lilies, daisies, irises and tulips (my personal favourite) are very popular and there is also a trend toward purchasing a single long-stemmed flower.

Whatever the variety or the budget for any special or romantic occasion flowers are always a welcome and thoughtful message of love and will always be a favourite gift for Valentines.
