US Consulate Vancouver Office

The US Consulate Vancouver office is located in downtown Vancouver. It's the home to the American agencies that work closely with the Canadian Federal and Provincial governments on issues of business and tourism as it pertains to American visitors to Vancouver and the rest of the province.

The Vancouver office also deals with American immigration, work visa applications and border security among other things.

For our friends to the south, the Vancouver office is also a source of information and if need be a means to contact the American government.

Americans on business in Vancouver can also network with Canadian business and commerce and gather information on trade missions, customs and excise and import and export requirements. Starting 2 October 2007, Americans will need to make appointments to meet with the consulate.

The Consulate Office is located at 1075 W. Pender St. in Vancouver and you can call them at 604-685-4311. The American citizen services section of the consulate is open to the public Monday to Friday from 8 AM – 12 Noon.

Keep in mind that the Vancouver US Consulate offices are closed for both American and Canadian federal holidays so check your calendar!

Consul General Lewis Lukens is in charge of the Vancouver US Consulate office and is very active in maintaining and forging new friendships and ties with the Canadian citizens and business.

The consulate’s Vancouver office also consults with Canadian security forces. Together they ensure the integrity and security of both sovereign nations by working together on issues of potential foreign and domestic terrorism, smuggling, immigration and many other issues.
