Trade and Convention Centre

Hi,

I am a manager of a 3-5 daycare program at Collingwood Neighbourhood House.

I have heard about the rooftop garden on the new trade and convention centre.

Our children are currently studying bees. I was wondering if tours can be booked for kids to see the garden and the bees.- I am not sure who to contact about this.

Hi Sabrina,

The new West wing of the Vancouver Convention Centre is a great place to take the kids for a field trip.


The rooftop garden has hundreds of thousands of local plants that attract birds and butterflies as well the apiary for the bees.

They will schedule a tour for you but you'll have to be a bit flexible because of conventions and other events that they may have going on.

What you'll have to do is e-mail them at tours@vancouverconventioncentre.com

I am sure other readers here on WhyVancouver would love to hear a review from you and a picture of the field trip the Vancouver Trade and Convention Center.

I imagine it will be quite the adventure for the kids!
