Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre

The Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre is the building that you can easily spot from the seawall of Stanley Park. It’s got a roof that looks like sails on a ship.

That building is called Canada Place and right next to it is the Cruise Ship Terminal that takes passengers on the Alaska cruises.

Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre

Usually on Canada Day (July 1st) there’s a big all day party there.

This facility hosts many of the large trade shows, conventions and world conferences that come to Vancouver (pronounced “Vancoover”).

Once the expansion and upgrades to The Trade and Convention Centre are finished it will have a capacity to host events up to three times the amount of what it is now.

And with the world coming to Vancouver and Whistler for the 2010 Winter Olympic Games we’ll need it!

When you have the pleasure of visiting Vancouver for business at the Trade and Convention Centre you’ll appreciate being conveniently located near restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

When it's time for a break be sure to visit Stanley Park and see Vancouver’s number one attraction.
