Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre
The Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre is a building that you can easily spot from the seawall of Stanley Park. It’s got a roof that looks like sails on a ship. The building is called Canada Place and right next to it is the Cruise Ship Terminal that takes passengers on the Alaska cruises.
Usually on Canada Day (July 1st) there’s a big all day party there. This facility hosts many of the large trade shows, conventions and world conferences that come to Vancouver. With expansions and upgrades the new convention facility has a capacity to host events up to three times the amount of the original building. When you have the pleasure of visiting Vancouver for business at the Trade and Convention Centre you’ll appreciate being conveniently located near restaurants, shopping and entertainment. When it's time for a break be sure to visit Stanley Park and see Vancouver’s number one attraction. ![]()
