The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel

The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel is one of Vancouver’s (pronounced “Vancoover”) most popular and best hotels.

The hotel sits right on the water down by Canada Place, The Trade and Convention Centre and the Cruise Ship Terminal.

 The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel

In fact the Fairmont is connected to the Trade and Convention Centre at Canada Place by an enclosed walkway that‘s lined with all kinds of shops and boutiques where you can pick up knick knacks and souvenirs.

The Fairmont itself is a luxury hotel with all the usual luxury stuff like heated pool, steam rooms and hot tubs.

But what can’t be beat about the Fairmont is the awesome views you get…wherever there is a window there is a stunning view.

A friend of mine came into town and stayed there so I was up in one of the rooms and caught a magnificent view of Coal Harbour and the North Shore mountains.

The other great thing is that the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel is located to so many other great Vancouver attractions.

It’s only a few minutes to stroll to Stanley Park and go around the seawall which is a really peaceful thing to do first thing in the morning and you may even see the rowing club out cutting along the water.

Or, you can go in the opposite direction and get to the cobble stone streets of Gastown and sit out at one of the cafes for a coffee.

Robson and Denman Streets as well as English Bay are also really close by within walking distance and are always good for fabulous dining, shopping, people watching and just simply hanging out.

The Opus Hotel has been voted one of the world's top 100 hotels.

The Wedgewood Hotel features flowers, fine antiques and original works of art in a warm elegant European setting.
