Stanley Park Tips

Stanley Park tips to help you along.

Concessions stands, parking lots and washroom facilities are standard amenities to help make your visit to Stanley Park the most popular attraction in Vancouver (pronounced “Vancoover”) a little more comfortable.

Concession Stands

You can pick up some quick snacks at the Brockton Visitor Centre near the entrance to the park.

Concession stands with fast food like hamburgers and hotdogs are at Prospect Point, Third Beach and Second Beach.

Parking

There is parking all throughout Stanley Park both on the roadways and in parking lots.

All parking is paid parking so you do need to buy a ticket from the ticket vending machine which takes coins and visa, or MasterCard.

You can pay an hourly rate or a daily rate and the good thing is once you pay for parking you can move your car around to different areas of the park and use the same ticket.

Washrooms

Washrooms are located at Brockton Visitor Centre, Prospect Point, Third Beach and Second Beach.

Dogs

Dogs must be leashed at all times ...for now anyway. There is a petition to have a section of the park turned into a dog off leash area.

And you definitely must clean up after your dog.

These Stanley Park Tips help keep Vancouver the best city in the world.
