Stanley Park Rose Garden

The Stanley Park Rose Garden is absolutely spectacular to see.

Stanley Park Rose Garden Vancouver

The best time to visit the garden is in early summer right around the end of June...the 4,000 bushes are flowering with over 200 varieties of roses.

Stanley Park Rose Garden Arbor Vancouver

The Stanley Park rose garden features an arbor and the roses have been trained to climb over it.

The roses begin to bud in early June and flower and when the roses are in full bloom the arbor is a wall of roses.

Not surprisingly, Stanley Park rose garden is one of the most popular and best places in Vancouver (pronounced "Vancoover") to have a wedding.

You can plan your wedding here and all the arrangements for the reception dinner at the Stanley Park Pavilion.

At the Stanley Park Pavilion they serve afternoon high tea which is a decadent affair of specialty tea served with sandwiches and pastries with cream served on a three tiered plate.

If you want to go I recommend you make a reservation.

In the early 1900’s the Stanley Park Pavilion was the place to see and be seen.

Important people loved to bring their guests here to sit in the rose garden and enjoy the good life.

The whole of Stanley Park really is a garden and the rose garden is like finding a shiny jewel in the middle of it.
