Vancouver Sports & Recreation
| |
Vancouver ( pronounce "Vancoover") provides a ton of sports and
recreation activities which makes it a great place for active people. |
You can actually go wind surfing in the morning, scuba diving in the
afternoon and then enjoy night skiing in the evening.

High on the list of sports and recreation is a doing a
walk, rollerblade or bike ride through
Stanley Park or....
Vancouver is a bike friendly city you could always go along one of the many
local inner city pathways that are laced and
intertwined throughout the city.
Not in to bike riding ... another popular activity is to spend time lazing
around at one of the local beaches.
Our beaches aren't that spectacular but the beautiful scenic mountain view make
up for it and the waters are warm.

There are also tons of places to rent sporting equipment.
Why not rent a boat or kayak and go for a leisurely paddle out on the water.
And,
if the most active thing you want to do is to sit back and sight-see in comfort...
Hopping on a tour bus is a nice alternative and it beats the hassle of looking
for a place to park.

A number of tour companies will take you on narrated tours of the city.
