Come Ski Vancouver and Whistler!

Come ski Vancouver and Whistler! One of the things you must do on your Vancouver winter vacation is hit the locals hills. Here you’ll find lots of information about the local hills and don’t forget your snowboard either because you’ll be able to fly down the same hills as the competitors of the Vancouver2010 events to see who is the best in the world.

Vancouver Skiing

Vancouver skiingCypress Mountain Grouse Mountain and are the more popular hills and also within minutes of the downtown Vancouver hotels, Vancouver timeshare locations (RCI Timeshare Resorts Vancouver that are a real option) as well as being able to drive through Stanley Park and take in some “quiet nature” on the way back or take in some of the other sights to see.

Discount Ski Vacations

Even though Vancouver is one of the best places to visit in the world, you can still ski Vancouver and Whistler on a tight budget and if you look around you’ll be able to find discount ski vacations to both Vancouver and Whistler. There are lots of cheap hotel deals and packages and home rentals if you just look around for them.

The same goes for dining out, with over 5,000 places to eat in Vancouver, it’s not hard at all, just take a look at our dining guide for more information.

Cypress Mountain

Cypress Mountain is where you’ll find most of the people who call in sick during the week to take in some daytime pleasure. Cypress also offers night skiing as well so instead of getting caught in rush hour traffic, many people choose to zip down the slopes until rush hour is over!

Grouse Mountain

Grouse Mountain is very much like Cypress both being close to the city. One major difference is that there is so much more to do year round on Grouse Mountain like the excellent chalet and romantic evenings and the zoo but not to forget the hike they call “The Grouse Grind” which is a very demanding hike to the top of the instead of taking the Grouse Mountain gondola which is worth the trip itself.

Whistler

Whistler is one of the great daytrips year round and Whistler you can take anytime of the year. In the winter you can ski Vancouver which is a bonus! You can either get a car rental from the Vancouver hotels or take one of the Whistler Ski Express buses or a bus from the Greyhound Bus Station or hire a Whistler limousine tour to take you there in style. Then again you can always just get a Whistler timeshare from one of the Whistler timeshare companies that offer everything from home rentals to timeshare condos year-round.
