Sea to Sky Highway

• Reserve a Vancouver car rental to take you on a scenic drive up this highway with views that span from the "sea" to the "sky" towards the Resort Municipality of Whistler. Along the way you can stop to take pictures at Lions Bay, Squamish and the craft shops at Britannia Mine and you'll understand why it's called the Sea to Sky Highway.

• Not quite on the “high seas” but you’ll be on the water surrounded by our Vancouver coastal mountains and the changing views of the smaller Gulf Islands like Bowen Island that you pass by on the ferry from Vancouver to Victoria. You could turn it into an actual daytrip to Victoria or just have a secret plan to take the ferry from Vancouver to Victoria and then turn around as soon as you get there ( a wait of about 20 minutes to an hour depending on the season) and take the next ferry to Vancouver and propose on the way back!

• The parks are also very popular especially Stanley Park because they add a naturally beautiful backdrop to such a special time.
