Deciding to elope is all about spending time together. Activities that you can do together may include couples' spa packages, a sumptuous candlelit dinner at a fancy restaurant or a scenic hike to top of a local mountain.

To arrange your wedding on a magnificent Vancouver beach or glorious park or garden there are few things you should know. It's on a first come, first served basis and there can only be 50 people or less (but since you are eloping this shouldn't be an issue). Chairs, tents, tables, alcohol and confetti are NOT allowed.

You can get a marriage license for a non-refundable $100…you'll need to show documents with each partner's full name and date of birth and you need to have two witnesses not including who ever is performing the ceremony. And of course in British Columbia same sex marriage is allowed.
