Nude Beaches in Vancouver

Nude beaches in Vancouver’s something many tourists have never ever though they’d hear about in the third largest city in Canada but it is true and has been true for decades.

Vancouver does have a beach where you can shed everything, really everything including your clothes and fully enjoy the sun without getting arrested for being naked in public!

The beach is called “Wreck beach” and this secluded public beach is located just below the University of British Columbia here in Vancouver, Canada !

The only way to get to the nude beach in Vancouver is by taking the nature path and stairs or by kayaking or other small boat. There are no Vancouver apartments or houses (or timeshares for that matter) that can see the beach. It is truly secluded and separated from the developed neighbourhoods of Vancouver.

Wreck Beach is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Vancouver and is a bit of a hike down a few flights of wooden stairs (it’s a bit of a hike to get back up them at the end of the day after laying in the hot sun) down the nature path where everyone can be Au Natural!

How many nude beaches are there... sorry but Vancouver only offers one of them and the rest of the Vancouver beaches are for clothed sun bathing but still just as beautiful like English Bay and Spanish Banks both of which offer great romantic sunsets in Vancouver.

You’re best off packing a lunch and some bottled water because there is no concession stands there to buy hamburgers, soda pop or fries like the other beaches Stanley park. Don’t forget to wear your sunscreen because you don’t want your parts that don’t see much sun to get sun-burned.

If you’re interested in finding a topless beach or nude beaches in Vancouver, make it a day trip and visit wreck beach.
