Nirvana Restaurant Vancouver

Nirvana is serves North Indian food. It’s one of those places that you can go to when you crave a particular thing because you can always count on your meal tasting the same way.

The entrees include beef, lamb, chicken, seafood and vegetarian meals bathed in authentic and traditional Indian curries and sauces.

You'll enjoy soups, salads, vegetarian specialties, seafood, tandooris (food cooked over charcoal in a clay oven), combination dinners, rice.

At Nirvana you’ll also find traditional Indian desserts made with ingredients that hardly seem decadent like Kheer made from basmati rice, cooked milk, almonds and pistachios and Gulab Jamun which is dry milk, and cottage cheese balls deep fried and dipped in honey syrup and rosewater.

They don’t look as pretty as some of the desserts you see at other North American restaurants but they do the same great job providing the complement and sweet ending to your meal.

Nirvana is a local favorite with people living in the neighborhood who drop in to dine or phone ahead for pick up
