My opinions about Vancouver Olympics Game

I think that Germany has many chances to be the winner this year, and looking at the start till now it's going very well.

In the previous Olympic Games in 2006 Germany did extremely well, so I think that Canada will have to work hard to beat this nation.

Despite these 2 being the strongest competitors, my favorite athlete is Carolina Kostner, who will compete for Italy in figure skating. I think that she has high chances to win this year, or at least to reach the second place.

Yu Nam Kim seems an extremely good opponent, and I know that many are convinced that she will win the gold medal, but I think that no one has the grace and elegance of Carolina. She seems so light that it's like she's only skimming over the ice. She gives strong emotions when she skates and I think that figure skating is also about this, being able to inject her feelings into us, and she's extremely talented in doing this.

I've been following her since years and I've always liked her. I could see something special in that little girl since her first contests.

Now she is a grown up, she is more used to these competitions and I hope she won't fall to that pressure that made her loose so many times in the past. Actually to me this is the only reason why she could fail again, because her skill is incomparable, and of course luck sometimes plays those games too.
