John Cusack and Rob Corddry filming in Vancouver

by Lloyd
(Vancouver)

Once of the new movies filmed in Vancouver is called Hot Tub Time Machine starring actors
John Cusack and Rob Corddry. Both are very funny and dynamic actors that are sure to make you laugh and also think.

They are supposed to begin shooting the last week of April 2009 so don’t be surprised if you see them looking for thing to do in Vancouver when they are here as well as other famous actors while there are so many movies being filmed in Vancouver.

It’s a comedy about a group of middle aged men (the last of the baby-boomers) looking for their youth and the adventures they had when they lived large. After a hot tub party they have while reliving their exploits they find out that the hot tub is like a magic carpet that can take them back in time to relive their youth, good and not so good.

John Cusack is also known as a great writer and also produces some of the films he’s in!
John Cusack has a long movie acting career and has worked on films such as:

o The Factory (playing Mike Fletcher) which just finished shooting and should be out in Vancouver during 2010,
o 2012 (playing Jackson Curtis) which just finished shooting and should be out in Vancouver during 2010,
o War, Inc. (playing Brand Hauser),
o Martian Child (playing David Gordon),
o Grace Is Gone (playing Stanley Philipps),
o Runaway Jury (playing Nicholas Easter),
o Identity (playing Ed),
o High Fidelity (playing Rob Gordon),
o Being John Malkovich (playing Craig Schwartz),
o Pushing Tin (playing Nick Falzone),
o The Thin Red Line (playing Capt. Gaff),
o Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (playing John Kelso),
o Con Air / U.S. Marshal (playing Vince Larkin),
o City Hall (playing Deputy Mayor Kevin Calhoun),
o Money for Nothing (playing Joey Coyle) and,
o True Colors (playing Peter Burton)

Rob Corddry is fairly new to the big screen (at least movies being filmed in Vancouver) but has done some really good acting in movies like:

o Rogue's Gallery (playing Chariot) which just finished shooting and should be out in Vancouver during 2010,
o Patriotville (playing Mayor Cleveland Fishback) which just finished shooting and should be out in Vancouver during 2010,
o The Winning Season (playing Terry Schemerhorn) which just finished shooting and should be out in Vancouver during 2010,
o Lower Learning (playing Harper Billings)
o Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay (playing Ron Fox)
o What Happens in Vegas (playing Hater)
o The Heartbreak Kid (playing Mac)
o I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry (playing Jim the Protester)
o Blades of Glory (playing Bryce) A really funny film!
o The Pleasure of Your Company (playing Kyle)
o Failure to Launch (playing Gun Salesman #1)
