There are many great hotels in Vancouver BC, and choosing which one to stay at is not always easy.  Deciding which hotel is best for you depends on a variety of factors, mainly:

Location:

4. Opus Hotel Vancouver: Located in Yaletown, a heritage district on the banks of False Creek, this is a great alternative for people who want a more neighborhood feel as opposed to the city. 

If you are looking for hotels in Vancouver BC that are in the more moderate price range, the Sylvia Hotel Vancouver (located in the West End close to Stanley Park) and the Georgian Court (across from BC Place Stadium) are great options. 

In the more affordable range, the Best Western Downtown Vancouver offers wonderful amenities at a great price; and is only three blocks from the aquabus that takes you to Granville Island. 

Expectations:

Of course, you must book at hotel that falls within your expectations of the trip; in other words, what you want to experience during your stay.  Some people like the amenities that come with large hotel chains; others prefer the personal touch of a boutique hotel or a bed & breakfast.
