Four Season Vancouver,a luxury downtown Vancouver Hotel
With its polished glass and marble pillars Four Seasons Vancouver is a luxury downtown Vancouver hotel. This 30 story hotel sits on top of Pacific Centre Mall shopping center with over 140 shops and its pretty much exactly at the center of the downtown Vancouver core. There are 372 rooms and 66 of them are suites and they all have large windows with views that look out either over the city or at Coal Harbour and Cypress, Seymour and Grouse mountains of the Northshore. From your Four Seasons Vancouver hotel room you can simply relax and look out the window at the activity going on in the street below like watching pedestrians and the traffic go by or the boats and seaplanes flying in and out of Coal Harbour to places like Victoria. Like all the downtown Vancouver hotels, the Four Seasons only a couple of blocks from major Vancouver attractions and sightseeing. Only a few blocks away there's Canada Place where the cruise ships come in to dock port to pick up passengers going on thier Alaska cruises and the lookout at Harbour Centre tower where you can go for a fantastic 360 degree view of the City of Vancouver.
Gastown is also only a couple of blocks away and you can go there and take a photo next to the famous Vancouver steam-clock that sounds off and pours steam every fifteen minutes, walk the cobble stoned streets of where the City of Vancouver first began and sit and enjoy a meal at the Water Street Café. The Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver is a place for families because it offers many complimentary services and amenities that you wouldn't often get or expect. For starters even if you arrive at midnight milk and cookies are sent up to the room for the kids. You can also request high chairs, games, bottles and even diapers. There's also a fitness center, sauna, hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool and a small 24 hour business center just in case you need to keep in touch with the office or you want to say hello to someone back home with a WhyVancouver ecard. At Christmas time the lobby and upper level of the Four Seasons Vancouver turns into an enchanted forest where local companies decorate Christmas trees for bragging rights as decided by popular vote and it's also a fund raiser for BC Children's Hospital. It's a nice way to spend an evening with a cup of hot chocolate. You may even decide to stay for an extra day of sight-seeing on your Vancouver vacation or take a daytrip out of Vancouver over to Victoria especially if you manage to take advantage of a special promotion going on at the hotel like your third night free when you book two nights in a row. ...Return often for more exciting information on many more of Vancouver's best things to do, sights to see and local attractions.
