Easter in Vancouver

Easter in Vancouver may be the most beautiful time to visit.

Easter in Vancouver

This holiday which falls between late March and late April is exactly when the year round paradise that Vancouver is really gets to show off.

Balmy spring weather provide the perfect conditions where you can play in the ocean in the morning, enjoy a round of golf in the afternoon and hit the slopes for night skiing all on the same day.

The Vancouver area is known for having excellent spring skiing conditions so if you haven't already had enough skiing for the winter this is the bonus round.

The best part of Easter time in Vancouver I think are the flowers pushing their heads up to find the sun... pussy-willows, pansies, crocuses and tulips to fill your Easter basket and the new born ducklings on the duck pond at Stanley Park.

For many people Easter means enjoying a lavish Easter Dinner You will find many high-end Vancouver restaurants like the Wedgewood Hotel, Sutton Place Hotel and the Pan Pacific Hotel offer a special holiday brunch.

Easter is also the perfect timing for another hit of chocolate. There are many popular specialty shops like Purdy's Chocolates and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory where you will be able to find your fill of chocolate Easter eggs and marshmallow chicks to put in your Easter candy baskets.

Another great thing is that Easter falls just before the height of the summer tourist season and that means less crowds at all the favourite must-see attractions.
