Day Trip

Day Trip anyone?

Within an hour’s drive of beautiful Vancouver (pronounced “Vancoover”) are many natural attractions and sights to see.

Heading west from the city and along the Sea to Sky Highway you will encounter some of the most incredible scenery.

The Sea to Sky Highway takes you along the coast of Howe Sound on one side and on the other side of the road are forests and snow-capped mountains.

This is a trip to be savored with many areas to stop to admire the view and some of the best places to take stunning pictures.

Along the way are residential communities like Horseshoe Bay where you could also choose to hop on a ferry and take a day trip over to the Bowen Island.

Heading east takes you out into the farmland. Be sure to stop and pick-up fresh fruit and organic greens.

To the south Steveston is a destination fishing village. In the summer time this place is brimming with visitors who come to buy fresh fish from the fishers right off the boat.

So take the scenic route, enjoy a ferry ride, explore a historic village or see dramatic scenery…

A day trip from Vancouver to somewhere nearby may turn out to be the highlight of your vacation.
