Cruising Vancouver

Cruising Vancouver is a unique way to sight-see and a fun thing to do in Vancouver (pronounced "Vancoover").

Cruise Under the Lions Gate Bridge Vancouver

There are a number of popular places to go.

One is to cruise the Inner Harbour along Stanley Park then into Burrard Inlet and under the Lions Gate Bridge...

Or in the opposite direction along Indian Arm and into Deep Cove where during the day you may spot bears, harbour seals and eagles and for sure you’ll see the huge waterfront houses and privately owned islands and the cruise operators always seem to have good information about celebrity's homes.

Taking a cruise at night is a whole new experience because then it's a romantic dinner, sunset and champagne cruise.

In the summer time when it’s the Celebration of Light Fireworks Festival the night time cruises are packed with boat loads of people enjoying the fireworks from the water.

Another fun cruise in summer is the annual Caribbean Boat Cruise. It’s full of people partying to the music of reggae and calypso and dining on authentic Caribbean food.

Right around Christmas time is also popular time for cruising Vancouver. The Carol Ships take to the water where the boats are all decked out in lights and are full of carolers.

Any talk about taking a cruise wouldn't be complete without telling you about our magnificent cruise ship terminal which was built to resemble the promenade of a gigantic ship.

From May until October cruise liners dock along the wharf next to Canada Place mostly taking passengers up to Alaska.
