Conventions Vancouver

People come from around the world to have their conventions in Vancouver (pronounced "Vancoover or Vankoover").

Our convention and exhibition center is currently expanding to three times its size with larger column free facilities and an additional 20 meeting rooms.

Vancouver is known around the world for our ability to meet and exceed the capacity needed by most groups.

Part of our secret is that we’re easy to reach from the US and Asia pacific (Japan, China, Taiwan, etc.) we have a large amount of hotel rooms with instant or very close access to downtown facilities.

We can fill over 13,000 rooms in the immediate area alone!

Not to mention the hotels further out (20 minutes from downtown) or the large amount of restaurants and other associated facilities, retail shopping, and great entertainment.

And I haven’t even mentioned the fantastic views of nature all around that makes Vancouver the best place to visit and live in the world.

Some of our past events held in Vancouver have been a lot of fun for everyone like the time the Shriners had theirs here. They even put on a parade for the city!

Other groups have been the chiropractors, all the way to the convention of Stargate SG-1 and Stargate Atlantis fan clubs which makes sense because both TV shows are shot here in Vancouver along with many others in Vancouver’s booming film industry which is, one day going to be as big as Los Angeles and New York film industries.

Perhaps we should host a huge event for every film shot here in Vancouver...
