Buddhist Temple
Vancouver’s Buddhist Temple(pronounced "Vancoover") is a prime example of the diversity of cultures and beliefs of people who live here peacefully.
Within the city you’ll notice people from every walk of life strolling through Vancouver visiting the sights, shopping, living and working in the city. There are a number of religions practiced here besides Christianity you’ll find Buddhism, Islam, Judaism, and so many more. There are even a number of "Pagan" beliefs practiced here and they all interact with great tolerance of each other. The Vancouver Buddhist temple is not the only one in Vancouver but it is the most decorated and is for sure an eye catching sight to see.
The temple is located in the suburb or Richmond and is about 20 minutes drive from most downtown hotels. If you need directions, just ask at your hotel and they’ll tell you exactly how to get there. The temple is open to one and all . There is no charge to see the beautiful decoration of their temple but they would be grateful for any donation that you would like to make. There is a different kind of beauty at the temple that’s hard to put into words…kind of a spiritual beauty and calmness... You can take the public transit there but it would be easier if you had a rental car I think you’d like to visit this site and see for yourself, the Vancouver Buddhist temple is open everyday year round.
